The Hudson Café is proud to present an eclectic and modern twist on a classic brunch menu in the heart of downtown Detroit composed by classically trained chef Tom Teknos with his partners Stavros and Francesco Adamopoulos. Our meticulously prepared dishes range from sweet to savory-or both! Our delicious selections are guaranteed to offer something for every palate.
Our namesake is, of course, the flagship Hudson’s department store which occupied the city block across the street between Grand River and State on Woodward Avenue. We chose this name to reflect our intent and dedication to grow with this city as we work to live up to Detroit’s motto, "Speramus meloria; resurget cineribus" or "We hope for better things; it will arise from the ashes.". After being blessed with six busy years in our downtown Detroit location, we’ve expanded to other metro Detroit areas with our sister restaurant The Jagged Fork. The Jagged Fork can be found in Grosse Pointe Farms and Rochester Hills with plans to expand to more locations with time.
